neowiccan , for prodding me on this), I finally learned the fate of the ABC-CLIO encyclopedia project, Gods and Goddesses of the World: A Comprehensive Encyclopedia. It turns out that the publisher canceled it in April '08, but the editor never told any of us contributors (at least, not me or the other contributor I was in contact with). So my entries on the Egyptian Gods are mine again. So I'm putting them here, on my new blog (they're under "Theology"; bear with me on the (dis)organization of this site, it's a work in progress). This will still be my personal blog, the other one is going to be more of a place to make finished work available.
