Just received an insta-rejection from the International Journal for Philosophy of Religion on "Theoretical Issues in Neoplatonic Polytheism." It was a form letter except for the P.S., which suggested "You may wish to send this to a more historically oriented journal for review." Because it's not as though polytheistic theology would be of contemporary interest to anyone…
